‘Irini Mando is an urban-pop singer and songwriter based in London. Notable for her large range, instrumental abilities and clever hooks, she has written across a range of genres.
Her current single MVP featuring South London rapper Kyze (Giggs, Chip, Wretch 32, Ghetts) was premiered on Reprezent Radio, the visual was premiered on Clash Magazine shortly thereafter.
In May 2018, Irini performed at the Canadian Music Week in Toronto, after being invited to perform on two different stages.
She has received funding from PRS Foundation to attend ASCAP Expo 2017 in Los Angeles; two months later she was heading back to LA to attend the BPI and MPA’s Sync Mission at Capitol Records.
After honing her performance skills in London full-time for four years, Mando has built a credible reputation headlining shows around London (Hoxton Square Bar, The Finsbury, Tileyard Studios) and being given radio/TV/press support over the last few years on platforms such as VEVO’s editorial team in the UK and US, Reprezent Radio, This Is Westside, London Live, Tirade World, LOST CULTURE, GUAP Mag, DiscoverNu, ILuvLive, The Press Release (Canada) and more.
She has previously worked with the Amy Winehouse Foundation which brought to fruition the title song of her debut EP Pink Noise and single “Hang”, which featured on the Foundation’s very first compilation album under Island Records in 2015. ‘
