Bugeye Single launch
Super sonic power chord punk mashup of Blondie Vs. Pixies – Bugeye are a London 4 piece disco punk band coming to a live venue near you soon…
If Debbie Harry, Jimi Hendrix, Kate Bush, & Keith Moon had been kidnapped by vegan aliens & bred, sometimes being tortured with hot poky things, in the pursuit of the ultimate rock & roll sound, the result may have sounded a little like this. Blending cherry-liqueur lyrics, bubblegum-kneecap bass electrics, goth-heavy drum compactions & hi-rise guitar sculptures, maybe one day all music will sound this good. But for now Bugeye stand alone.
The Trusted New EP celebration
The Trusted are a band on a mission: a mission to reacquaint audiences with just how vital guitar rock can be when it’s done right.
This Southend four-piece defiantly embraces the classic structures of vocals, lead guitar, bass and drums. And they craft a sound that reminds you of why you fell in love with garage guitar bands in the first place.
Whatever your first crush was, you’ll find a familiar touchstone on at least one of their songs. But The Trusted are distinctive, with the repertoire and musicianship to confidently claim their own seats at guitar-pop’s high table.
Combining rock, pop and grunge with catchy melodies, Fragile Creatures take you back to a golden age of British guitar music without sounding reductively retro.
They released their debut album And Other Wild Things in Spring 2016, as the first release on the Brightonsfinest Presents label. Now the band are emerging from a winter spent hard at work in the rehearsal room, with upcoming shows focused on road testing the new material they’ve written for the second record before hitting the studio. What’s been heard so far is darker, bigger and more convoluted.
Dead Writers are as striking and intriguing as their name suggests. Based in London, theirs is an ambitious sound defined by layers of dynamic guitars, anthem choruses and compelling vocals.
The band’s heady fusion of musical influences draws on the melodic brilliance of Queen, the mystical roar of Led Zeppelin, the glassy melancholy of The Cure and the dark swagger of The Cult.
Originally formed in 2017 by frontman/songwriter Paul Shine, Dead Writers are an explosive 5-piece who are fast building a reputation for themselves in the capital’s rock music scene, due in no small part to their arresting live performances.
A dreamy pop/rock outfit, inspired by the likes of Oasis, Beatles, Coldplay, and Tame Impala.
