A Soulful Christmas

19:00 - 23:00

In 2007 Andy Mitchell reformed The AM Band to record a Charity album to raise money and awareness for the Lowe Syndrome Trust. He assembled an array of vocal talent to contribute some unique and wonderful performances
that included performances by Alexander Burke, Vanessa Haynes, Angie Brown, Wayne Henandas, Susan Allotey, as well as AM band regular John Falcini, and many more creating a most unusual Seasonal offering.

A Christmas Soul includes collection of alternative versions of popular Christmas favourites, soulful tracks by Donny Hathaway and Eight original songs that were featured on the soundtrack of the audio production A Global Carol.
2018 Being the Tenth anniversary of the original release the band and some of the original performers along with new vocal talent are presenting a selection of songs from the album, some material from the album “He Ain’t Heavy” and additional songs that fit the overall sentiment of the season on Monday the 17th of December and premier London venue The Assembly Rooms in Camden from 8pm to Eleven.

The Ten Pound door will be donated to Lowe Syndrome Trust, Motor Neurone Disease and Cerebellar Ataxia and The Pan African Book Foundation and copies of the album will be available on the night (all proceeds will be given to The Lowe Syndrome Trust)
